In 2009, we launched a new law firm with over twenty attorneys in five East Coast Offices within a few short weeks. One of the biggest challenges we faced was to design and implement a new computer network for 30 users without any internal IT capability. We turned to CommNet International and CommNet rose to the challenge. In less than a month, and in time for our opening, CommNet had a new data center up and running in our main office, with all firm computers, VOIP telephones and PDA's operational. CommNet worked closely with our Worldox and Tabs3 software vendors for a seamless integration. Since day one, CommNet has quickly responded to and resolved our technology issues and we continue to rely on CommNet for all IT managed services. CommNet was the right choice for our law firm.

South Jersey Family Medical Centers

Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers (SJFMC) engaged CommNet International to refresh our Server farm, relocate our data center, and convert communications for our 9 offices from a Point-to-Point Network to MPLS. CommNet created an incremental plan to minimize risk, and executed this entire project without affecting our day-to-day business operations. Other than the performance improvements, most of our employees did not even know about the extensive work that was being performed. Ultimately, CommNet improved our data processing environment. 

While working with CommNet on our data center project, we realized that CommNet has the staff and expertise to manage our computer systems and network on an on-going basis. SJFMC felt that this would significantly improve our service levels, reduce the risk of an outage that would cost us tens of thousands of dollars, and help us meet our data compliance standards. We have CommNet's 24/7/365 IT Systems Monitoring and Management service, providing both proactive maintenance and immediate response in the event of an outage or other event. Out IT partnership with ComNet, and the peace of mind that goes along with it, are part of the foundation we are building upon as we grow our services to the community.

The Alliance

I don't know how we would have done it without you! After spending our initial twenty years in the same office location, to move our office to another building was as culturally disruptive as the physical processes. I believe the only component of the relocation which followed according to plan and didn't create stress was the computer network. It was very reassuring to our employees that when they turned on their machines as scheduled at noon on Monday, everything worked perfectly. It's a shame it took a couple of extra days for the phone company to get our telecommunication services operational.

Please pass on my appreciation to Doug, Bob, Eric and the rest of the CommNet team for being there when we needed you. Due to the permit problems with our town, the move ended up being rescheduled twice which tested everyone's flexibility, especially around the holidays. Committement like this to the customer is one reason why we've continued our relationship with your organization since 1987.
